ProTaper Riders Maintain Championship Points Lead

Jeremy Martin Regains Red Plate At Thunder Valley!
The third round of the 2015 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross was held at the Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, CO on Saturday. ProTaper’s Jeremy Martin had a victorious day in 250MX. He dominated in the first moto by pulling the holeshot, checking out and winning by almost 19 seconds. He won the second moto in similar fashion. He regains the red plate with the 1-1 victory. ProTaper claimed another podium with Zach Osborne finishing second in the class. ProTaper’s Christian Craig, Jordon Smith, RJ Hampshire, Aaron Plessinger, Matt Bisceglia and Brandon Scharer finished 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 12th, and 23rd, respectively.
In 450MX, ProTaper’s Eli Tomac was on fire in the first moto as he took the early lead and won by 14.5 seconds. He again had a huge lead in the second moto before going down, leaving him unable to finish. He ended up 7th overall on the day, and is currently second overall in rider point standings. ProTaper’s Christophe Pourcel, Jason Anderson and Kyle Chisholm finished 8th, 11th and 12th, respectively.
Max Nagl Continues To Lead Championship Points At MXGP of France
Round eight of the FIM Motocross World Championship was held at the MXGP of France in Villars sout Ecot over the weekend. Current red plate holder, ProTaper’s Max Nagl, maintained his championship points lead with a 6-2 finish to earn fourth overall. ProTaper’s Todd Waters finished 12-13 to round out the top 10. Riders will now make their way to the ninth round of the series, to be held June 14 at the MXGP of Italy in Maggiora.

Luke Clout Holds On To Points Lead At Coolum Pines
Round five of the Australian MX Nationals was held over the weekend at the Coolum Pines Motocross Track in Coolum Beach QLD. With tough track conditions for the MX2 class, and 7 of the 31 riders unable to finish the first moto at one of the sandiest tracks of the series, ProTaper’s Jed Beaton and Luke Clout stayed focused and walked away with 6th and 10th place finishes, respectively. The challenging ride paid off for Clout, as he still maintains the championship points lead in the series in MX2. Riders will now make their way to the sixth round of the series, to be held July 5th at MX Central Ride Park in Raymond Terrace NSW.
