CORONA, CA – March 5, 2015 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – It’s been a solid 450SX Class rookie season so far for Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely with more than a handful of top results, memories and learning experiences to take into the second half of the season. This weekend, Seely and the rest of the Monster Energy Supercross riders will tackle to always-unique blended motocross and supercross track on the infield of Daytona International Speedway.
While Seely’s 250SX career consisted primarily of West Coast tracks, this isn’t Seely’s first run at the one-of-a-kind course in the Sunshine State. Last year, he finished 11th at Daytona as an interim rider and is poised to do even better this weekend with nine rounds already under his belt.

So far this season, Seely has captured two heat-race wins in the constantly-stacked opening races, scored a career-best finish of second at Anaheim 3, and has finished outside the top 10 just three times.
“Adjusting to the longer season has been at the forefront of my training,” said Seely. “I’ve been learning to create my schedule during the week in a way that doesn’t burn me out at this point in the season. So far I’m happy with how I’ve been riding. Daytona is a bit different, but I know we’re ready to make another good finish happen.”
Seely currently is sixth in the championship, just six points off fifth place.
