Seely narrowly missed the cut to advance straight from his heat to the Main Event. He took advantage of an extra start and track time to help him grab his season best finish in the main.

Great Start
Seely shot out to a great start off the special elevated start and quickly moved into third on the opening lap. It didn’t take long before he moved into second and held off any advances from pressuring riders to take his first career 450SX podium.

“My night started a little rough with the heat and even the semi,” said Seely. “Even after the heat and semi, I still felt ready for the main and finally got the start I’ve been looking for. It was a little different being an elevated start, but I was able to put it together in the main. I could feel those guys breathing down my neck the whole race, but I just tried to hit my marks and ride my own race.”
