Ducati to unveil two new models for the first time in North America at the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show

CUPERTINO, CA – November 12, 2014 – (Motor Sports Newswire) –  Closely following the company’s 2015 World Premiere at EICMA, Ducati North America today announced that Dominique Cheraki, CEO of Ducati North America, will present the brand’s new flagship Superbike, the 1299 Panigale, and the new generation Multistrada 1200 for the first time on North American soil during the press preview at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show (IMS) in Long Beach, Calif., prior to the public viewing from Nov. 14 to 16.

The 1299 Panigale builds on the engineering and design achievements that were introduced with the 1199 Panigale to create this extreme Superbike. The new 1299 Panigale is an even more powerful and responsive motorcycle, while at the same time easier and safer to ride, thanks to category-leading technological enhancements.

A new standard is reached for the ultimate “four bikes in one.” With the introduction of the completely redesigned Multistrada 1200, this is the first in the motorcycle industry to feature DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing) technology. In addition, the Multistrada 1200 sets new electronics benchmarks, enhancing performance and safety, and now includes electronic cruise control as a standard feature.
