DAYTONA BEACH, FL – March 12, 2013 – Jeremy Martin puts together an impressive ride that lands him on the podium for the first time in his young professional racing career.
Round 10 of the Monster Energy Supercross series was held this past Saturday night in the center of the Daytona International Speedway. This event is one of the most historic events in our sport and to put a good result together here at this “one off” race; means a lot and provides great confidence for the remainder of the series.
Jeremy Martin started off the day qualifying 4th overall in his practice sessions; giving him a good gate pick for his heat race. Martin would go on to have a decent ride in his Heat and move straight to the main bypassing the Last Chance qualifier.
The Main Event was next and Martin had a “so so” start but used his fitness and determination to get up near the front with a few laps to go. The 2nd to last lap; Martin would pass Dean Wilson (series favorite) to secure his spot on the podium.
Congrats to Jeremy and the whole Star Racing MYPLASH Yamaha Team!!
