CORONA, CA – March 8, 2013 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson and Justin Hill are heading south for the fourth round of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross 250SX East series, which will be held this Saturday, March 9, at the Daytona Motor Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fl. Wilson is determined to land on the top spot of the podium after two consecutive weeks of second-place finishes, while Hill is looking to redeem himself after an incident in the beginning of last Saturday’s 250SX East Main Event that forced him to charge from last to 16th in a dedicated attempt to salvage valuable points. Both riders have victory on their minds as they approach Daytona’s legendary event.
Dean Wilson >> Determined to Win
After two consecutive weeks of finishing second, Wilson is more motivated than ever to regain control of the top spot of the podium. He is currently only one point away from first overall in 250SX East championship point standings, and he will be putting it all on the line in Daytona in order to run the red plate again.
“I’m looking forward to Daytona because it’s such a unique event,” said Wilson. “I’m excited because it’s always a lot of fun, but I’m definitely ready to be on the top spot of the podium again!”
Justin Hill >> Looking for Redemption
Hill has an eye for redemption after an incident in the beginning of last Saturday’s 250SX East Main Event forced him to charge from last to 16th. His dedication never waivered, and he stayed strong as continued to move through the pack. He now has his sights set on Daytona and, after a successful week of riding and training, he’s feeling confident that Saturday will be a success.
“I had a solid week of riding so I’m feeling pretty confident about Daytona,” said Hill. “I’m ready to redeem myself after last weekend’s race. I’m looking for a podium finish.”
