CORONA, CA – February 18, 2013 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson made a statement by claiming a dominating win at the first round of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross 250SX East series, which was held this past Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tex. Teammate Justin Hill made his first professional appearance at Monster Energy Supercross and earned an impressive fifth.
Dean Wilson >> Running Away With It
Wilson started the night strong by winning his heat race, which set him up with a nice gate pick for the 250SX East Main Event. In the main, he earned a second-place start but quickly made the pass for the lead and completely ran away from the competition. He led every lap and took the first 250SX East Main Event win of the season.
Justin Hill >> An Impressive Beginning
Hill made his Monster Energy Supercross debut at Cowboys Stadium and, after earning eighth in his heat race, the rookie navigated through the field after starting in the back of the pack in the 250SX East Main Event and walked away with an impressive fifth-place finish.
