ASPEN, CO – January 28, 2013 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Arctiva’s Levi LaVallee competed in two events over the weekend at the X Games in Aspen, Colo., earning gold medals in both the Snowmobile Freestyle and Snowmobile Speed and Style events. LaVallee looked poised to earn another two medals, but an injury to a muscle in his back kept him out of competition in the Snocross and Best Trick events.
LaVallee started the weekend on a great note when he earned the first gold medal of the 2013 X Games in the Snowmobile Freestyle event on Thursday night. He then went on to dominate the competition in Speed and Style, which took place on Saturday, taking home another gold medal.
LaVallee’s teammate and ISOC Pro Lite rider Jake Scott was able to qualify for the Snocross event on Saturday, eventually earning seventh in the final. Arctiva’s Johan Lidman also qualified for the Snocross final, finishing 10th.
The second Winter X Games event will take place in Tignes, France starting March 20. The next ISOC Snocross round on the schedule will be held from February 1-2 in Deadwood, S.D.
