Pirelli and JGRMX Crowned Genoa SX Champions

ROME, GA – November 5, 2012 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – In front of 9,000 fans and nearby Pirelli’s worldwide operations in Milan, Italy, pro-Supercross rider Justin Brayton of JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha was crowned King of Genoa at the conclusion of the 32nd annual Genoa Supercross this past Sunday. The race format included two main events, with the overall victory going to the rider consistently at the front of the field.

Brayton earned one second and one first place finish respectively in the two main events which computed a first place overall for Pirelli and the team for the race weekend.  Fellow American Eli Tomac and France’s Gautier Paulin rounded out the podium.  This event was the third round of the UEM Supercross Championship Series (Union Eurpe’enne de Motocyclisme).

Brayton will continue his off-season European tour racing the 30th annual Bercy Supercross at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy on November 9-11th. JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha’s Josh Grant remains in the U.S. training and testing.

Grant and Brayton, along with their Pirelli-shod JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha YXF bikes will be on the gate for the start of the 2013 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series presented by Toyota Jan. 5, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif.  The television schedule is yet to be announced, but it is expected the event will be broadcast live on SPEED.
