Patrick McGuire wins the GNCC ATV XC2 Championship

Fahringer Ends National Enduro Season with Podium

JANESVILLE, WI – November 5, 2012 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Hosting its final round, the Grand National Cross Country Series ended their season in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Sunday’s ATV XC2 race had all eyes on Moose Racing’s Patrick McGuire. As he rode a consistent race to finish fifth, he also wrapped up the ATV XC2 championship. Fellow Moose Racing rider Braden Henthorn didn’t finish the race in Tennessee, but still landed second in the points standings. After starting the season in the XC2 class, Eric Hoyland raced the XC1 class in Tennessee where he finished seventh. Despite not running the final two XC2 races, Hoyland ended up fourth in the XC2 standings.

Moose Racing’s Nick Fahringer ended his AMA National Enduro season on a high note with his fourth podium finish this year in Stanton, Ala. Fahringer boosted himself to the runner-up spot after earning wins in the third and sixth tests, finishing less than 30 seconds behind the winner. His consistency also helped him land fourth overall in the championship standings.

Also putting together good showings were Moose Racing’s Jesse Groemm and Shane Hufford, Jr. Groemm finished the day fifth overall and fifth in the points standings, while Hufford raced to a sixth-place result and ninth overall in the standings.
