JANESVILLE, WI – January 9, 2012 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – With 2012 now in full swing, racing resumed for the AMA Arenacross Series at VanAndel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. Moose Racing’s Tyler Bowers continued to show his dominance as he swept the weekend’s main events on both Friday and Saturday. With his two victories, Bowers moved into a tie for the lead in the points standings.

Also putting together a good weekend was Moose Racing’s Chad Johnson. On Friday night, Johnson took the final podium spot in dramatic fashion with a final-corner pass to elevate him to his sixth podium of the season. During Saturday’s race, Johnson also put together a good showing, just missing the podium with a fourth-place finish.
The racing action continues this weekend as the AMA Arenacross Series heads to Kansas Expocenter in Topeka, Kansas.
