JDR KTM Chooses Faction MX For 2012
MESA, AZ – January 6, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – JDR KTM joins the growing list of top pro teams to choose Faction MX components and will be flying the colors at the Supercross season opener in Anaheim this weekend. An Australian/American team, JDR Motorsports was formed back in 2008 with the signing of then #2 in the world GP standings Andrew McFarlane and continues to have a strong presence in the motocross world to this day, including topflight talent such as Malcolm Stewart and PJ Larsen. Given this global backdrop, Faction MX is proud to announce that the pros at JDR/J-Star KTM choose to run Faction components this season.
“JDR KTM runs a world class operation, without question,” says Faction MX General Manager Scott Highland. “We are humbled and honored that they will be running our high-temp silicone hoses and suspension pull rods again in 2012!”
An even bigger testament to the Faction MX/JDR KTM collaboration is the fact that crew chief Vincent Bereni will be working with Faction’s engineers on the development of high performance components for the team’s race bikes. “We race what we sell… and sell what we race, so the input from Vincent and the JDR Team riders will be invaluable for all of our customers,” Highland adds.
Speaking of team riders, JDR just signed Aussie racer Ryan Marmont to fill in for the injured PJ Larsen, according to JDR/J-Star KTM team manager Nathan Ramsey. Marmont will be racing alongside Matt Moss in the West Coast SX Lites events, while PJ will return to contest the East Coast Lites with teammate Malcolm Stewart.
“This is a great group of talented young racers and they are as dedicated to winning as we are dedicated to developing and producing the finest valvetrain components on the market,” claims Highland.
