August 8, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – The 2011 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) is officially underway in the Kotka-Hamina region in Southern Finland. The competitors were greeted with some wet conditions this morning and tasked with completing a near 200-mile course to kick off the event!

Prior to the opening ceremonies of this year’s event, Moose Racing rider and 31-year ISDE veteran, Jeff Fredette sat down to talk about the event and his interesting trek to Finland.
Today’s test was a rocky one and the USA Trophy Team put in a solid ride to end day one in fourth position. Team USA will be posting live updates to their Twitter feed (@ISDEteamUSA) throughout the event and Moose Racing will be updating you all with additional results, photos, and videos as they become available.
