JANESVILLE, WI – May 27, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Recognized as a pioneer in the motorcycle industry, Parts Unlimited founder and motorcycle industry pioneer, Fred Fox becomes one of the latest inductees to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
Fox founded Parts Unlimited in 1967 with the goal of providing motorcycle dealers with the highest-quality products, delivered in the shortest amount of time. Through his revolutionary distribution centers, dealers received their items faster than ever before, with a level of customer service that was second to none.
Building on the company motto of “We Support The Sport®,” Fox has helped foster the racing side of the industry through his longtime support of both professional and amateur racing series, teams and riders. “Fred has stuck to the fundamentals of fill-rate, consistency, fairness and support since the day he started in business,” said Greg Blackwell, VP of Sales for LeMans Corporation. “These principles and his leadership have inspired the LeMans subsidiaries to become worldwide leaders in their respective categories. I think I speak for the more than 1,200 LeMans employees in saying how proud we are of Fred’s appointment. It is well deserved.”
