March Madness, Motorcycle Style!

Scorpion-Sponsored Stunters Dominate XDL Competition

LAKE FOREST, CA – March 16, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Basketball fans get all revved up for NCAA tournament time in March, however the motorcycle industry has its own version of “March Madness” held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Hordes of bikers suffering from cabin fever from being cooped up all winter invade the beach for a week of riding, racing, bike shows and XDL stunt competition. Now in its sixth year, the XDL Championship Series has emerged as the premiere stunt riding competition in the country.

As in years past, there was a full blown infestation of Scorpions in the XDL ranks as a number of the nation’s top Stunters rely on ExoSkeletal protection, including top contender Eric “E-Brake” Pettit who won the Speed & Style event sporting both a Scorpion helmet and ExoWear. Other Scorpions on the podium included Aaron Twite, who finished second in the Circle Competition wearing his Scorpion helmet and jacket, “Sick” Rick Hart, wearing a Scorpion helmet was second in the “Sickest Trick” competition with an exceptional 360-degree Stoppie and Scorpion’s latest addition to the Team, Luke “Duke” Emmons wearing an ExoWear jacket finished third in the overall FMF Cup rankings.

“Scorpion Sports is proud to support XDL and its roster of talented riders,” says Scorpion’s marketing gal, Suzie Kirby. “It is great to see so many of these Stunters Get Stung!”

Following up on the March Madness in Daytona, Round #2 of the XDL Championship series will be April 1-2, 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Click on http://www.xdlshow.com for more details.
