LocoX.com and XDL Form New Partnership

HUNTSVILLE, AL – March 7, 2011 –  (Motor Sports Newswire) – LocoX.com is excited to announce a new partnership with the XDL Sportbike Freestyle Championship series. The new agreement will share promotional tools to help push the rapidly growing discipline even further in the right direction. With LocoX.com selling a huge selection of street bike parts, gear and accessories, the new agreement with XDL was a natural fit.

LocoX.com is really pumped to be part of XDL. We strongly believe freestyle street is the cutting edge of motorcycle competition,” said LocoX.com founder and CEO Dave Scilabro. “These guys have had a hard road legitimizing the sport and deserve all the recognition they get. Anyone who’s ever thrown a leg over a sport bike really wants to be able to rock a high chair wheelie or a sick a**, high-speed stoppie but most of us can’t. We just want to be a part of history with these guys.”

XDL is the only championship of its kind and is the leader in reaching the core 20-year-old sport bike demographic. Each XDL event features the world’s most skilled sport bike riders squaring off in seven unique competitions for over $10,000 in prize money. Since its inception in 2006, the series has built a global following in places as far off as India, Indonesia, China, Japan, Australia, France, Thailand and Eastern Europe. In the process sportbike freestyle also emerged as the fastest growing action sport in America.

“In 2008 I recognized that XDL wasn’t about the bikes. Instead, the sport was about our athletes and that our true home is action sports,” said XDL’s Randy Grube. “Since that time we’ve been working towards becoming a player in that world and I feel that our new relationship with LocoX.com is another solid step in that direction. This relationship will help us leverage our huge investment in video and TV even better. So, all in all I couldn’t be more stoked.”
