ZEPHYR COVE, NV – January 28th, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – MotoAdvisor, Inc. has spent the winter upgrading SCHEDULEPOWER² for the New Year, rolling out a series of updates to the program over the first quarter. The first release of this series of updates is already live and focused on helping to improve the service staffs ability to manage appointments.
SCHEDULEPOWER² is a service scheduler that increases the profitability of a dealership’s service department and allows employees to always deliver on their promises to customers. This simple to use software can be implemented and learned in just a few days. The latest update of this time management tool focuses on internal reminders, linked appointments and effectively scheduling with lunch breaks.
SCHEDULEPOWER² can transform any service department into a profit center by giving team members the ability to better serve the customer. Features like Internal Reminders allow service writers to set “easy-to-view alerts” to contact customers for approval, check on back order parts and any other important task. Reminders help service writers do the things that if forgotten, often result in incomplete jobs or unsatisfied customers. By having an internal reminder system, SCHEDULEPOWER² takes another step to never let the department or the customer down.
Another feature released in the first of this series of updates is a Linking Appointment feature. SCHEDULEPOWER² is not just an appointment system but assists in effectively dispatching repairs to technicians. Not every service job goes as planned and future time needs to be reserved for waiting on parts or expanding the job. Once the vehicle is set aside it is too often forgotten. Rather than leaving the appointment incomplete, now service writers can create a new appointment on the tentative date and link it to the old appointment record, which will automatically transfer details and notes. This feature provides a much more accurate history of the work being provided and it prevents the job from being forgotten.
The last feature active in this update is the ability to book around Lunches. Now, when service writers set appointments, SCHEDULEPOWER² considers that the appointment will overlap the lunch. The time of the appointment is adjusted, making it easier and more effective to sell all of the technician’s time in the day. Having the ability to book around lunches insures ever hour is accounted for (both on the clock and off the clock). When Time is what you sell, accounting for every minute matters.
“Our team has been hard at work taking feedback from our customers and thinking of innovative ways our service department application can be improved,” says MotoAdvisor CEO Myra Hight. “We’ve spent our winter making our application better for the department it supports, to know it is the best solution for any service center that wants to improve their sales and improve the quality of their customer’s experience. This attitude has helped our company increase its sales by 70% and we look forward to doing the same in 2011.”
Dealers who are interested in exploring the use of SCHEDULEPOWER² as a tool to help them manage their service department can contact Josiah Taulbee, Dealer Development Director, for a free preview and to discuss a 30 day risk free trial in your dealership.
